Refund, Cancellation & Replacement Policy

1. Consultation fees

Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been provided.

2. Rescheduling consultations

Clients may request to reschedule a consultation. Rescheduling is subject to office availability.

3. Cancellation before work starts

If a client cancels a service before any legal work has started, LawHouse may review whether a full or partial refund is appropriate.

4. Cancellation after work has started

Once work has started, fees for work already performed are non-refundable. This includes professional time, document review, drafting, legal research, communications, government submissions, court procedures, meetings, attendance, travel and any other work already carried out.

If a client chooses not to continue after work has started, this does not automatically entitle them to a refund.

5. Government and third-party fees

Government fees, court fees, notary fees, embassy and consulate fees, translation fees, expert fees and other third-party expenses are subject to the rules of the relevant authority or provider and may be non-refundable.

6. Completed services

Completed legal services are non-refundable.

7. No guaranteed outcome

Legal outcomes cannot be guaranteed. An unfavourable result does not automatically create a right to a refund.

8. Replacement

Product replacement rules do not apply, because LawHouse provides professional legal services rather than physical goods.

9. How to request a refund

Send your request by email or WhatsApp and include:

• Client name
• The service concerned
• Payment date
• Amount paid
• Reason for the request

Each refund request is reviewed individually. If a refund is approved, the processing time may depend on the bank or payment provider.
